Michael Lim | Solopreneur Launch

you can just do things 🏃‍♂️‍➡️

G'day G'day friends,

I met a 74-year-old Australian woman in a co-working space.

Her name is Jina.

She was working hard to launch her 2nd book.

The crazy thing?

Jina only started writing after her 70th birthday.

When most people decide to retire, she decided to pursue a new career.

Some of the stories she told me was incredible.

  • She lost her home and partner at 45.
  • She built multiple successful businesses.
  • She decided to live in Romania for 16 years.

Now, she plans to be an author and tell her stories to the world.

Turning 31 later this month, I couldn’t help but be inspired.

Jina made me realize that:

Anyone, at any age, can decide to change their lives.

There’s no deadline on creativity.

There’s no expiration date on being able to change.

There’s no universal timeline to reinvent in yourself.

You can wake up and decide to be someone new.

For 99% of things in life, you don’t need a qualification or permission.

You can just do things.

That’s my message for this Friday.

Enjoy your weekend and see you Monday :)

(And maybe do something you've always wanted to do)

Let’s Launch Together,

Michael “it’s never too late” Lim.
