Gâday, Gâday friends, When I worked in my corporate job, I always heard this word: Strategy this, Strategic plan that, Strategy meetings this. Everything had the word strategy inside of it. Iâd nod politely in these meetings. And Iâd just repeat the latest buzzword I heard someone else say in a previous meeting. I even met people whose title had âStrategic Advisorâ When they described what they did, I felt even more confused. This experience made me feel like âstrategyâ was complete B.S Strategy became a word that people used to sound smart. Slap the word "strategic" or "strategy" in front of anything, and bobâs your uncle. But since reading Seth Godinâs book âThis is Strategyâ, Iâve changed my mind: I read this book while traveling across Vietnam with my mum. Iâve developed my own definition of Strategy: Strategy is the allocation of scarce resources against unlimited possibilities. Put this way, strategy makes sense. Content strategy is allocating time and money to create one type of content over others. Feature strategy is the allocation of employee time to build a certain type of feature over others. Honestly, this felt like a breakthrough. But it gets better. In a world of AI, the ability to think strategically is even more important. With AI, you can build anything and everything. You basically have close to unlimited resources. So, product development ceases to be a competitive moat. Building the right thing becomes the high-value skill. Strategy requires taste, judgement, and critical thinking. If youâre an expert wanting to monetize your knowledge, youâve got all of the above. But what you donât have is a Launch Strategy.
All these questions boil down to this question: Where do I allocate my resources? Thatâs why I created The Launch Audit Bot, or The Lab. The LAB is a tool I built from 100+ hours of coaching calls with expert-led solopreneurs worldwide, plus my proprietary frameworks and IP. Iâve helped experts in almost every niche, sector, and industry successfully turn whatâs inside their heads into money. The LAB gives you a personalized strategy and a roadmap for what you need to do next. You can get access to The Lab for less than the price of your morning coffee: âhttps://michaellimco.thrivecart.com/lab/ Letâs Launch Together, Michael âstrategy finally makes senseâ Lim. |
