Gâday Gâday friends, Happy New Year! I celebrated the New Year in Bali. But the downside of being on a party island is well⊠the party people. Around 4:00am in my guest house, some guests decided to bring the party back. Clubs were closed, but they didnât want to stop the good vibes. So they started drinking, playing loud music, and being raucous. My beautiful New Yearâs sleep was rudely interrupted. I decided to investigate, so I went outside and just stood there to watch. Another guest came out and asked them to keep it down. They replied: âThis is New Yearâs, we donât do this everyday. Iâll be good tomorrow. The guest stormed off angry and tired. Blame it on sleep deprivation, but this statement stuck with me. People overvalue the meaning of one day. New Yearâs doesnât change anything. Change is long and takes time. Too many ex-corporate solopreneurs overestimate what they can do in one day. But severely underestimate what they can do in a year. Iâm not hard working. But hereâs a mantra thatâs changed my life: Take the least amount of action to keep progressing. Those small 1% improvements everyday stack up over 365 days. Tiny actions arenât sexy. And you often donât even notice them. People who wait for the perfect moment wonât last. The ones who win are those who changeâŠslowly and sustainably. So, what are you looking to change in 2026? Iâd love to hear it. Letâs Launch Together, Michael ânothing changes if nothing changesâ Lim. *** P.S - Whenever youâre ready to Launch, here are 3 ways I can help you fire up the rocket ship:
