G’day friends, It’s been a big couple of weeks. I’ve landed back in Singapore from Sri Lanka. And promptly slept for 14 hours. Even after all that sleep, I still woke up tired. My body is recovering from the stimulation overload. New time zones. Long flights. Speaking events. It felt like go, go, go. On top of this, I’m also:
It’s a lot. During this time, my emotions can fluctuate. I can feel sad, happy, excited, and tired all the time. I love what I do, but managing the recovery can be difficult. The best thing I’ve learned is going back to the basics. Simple actions that move me forward.
These don’t look or feel heroic. But in life and business: Big leaps are sexy. But not sustainable. Small steps aren’t sexy. But are scalable. Gradually accumulate the small wins into big wins.
