G'day G'day friends, I listened to a recent podcast with Scott Galloway. He was being interviewed by Steven Bartlett on a Diary of a CEO. They were chatting away about AI. When Steven asked Scott about the skill required to thrive in a world of AI, Galloway mentioned only ONE skill: Storytelling. Sales, communication, and connection will belong to those who can tell the best story. With AI, you can create any digital product, app or software with a good prompt. That means the competitive edge must come from somewhere else. When product development becomes abundant, the ability to attract users is the new high value skill. AI doesn’t destroy value, it shifts value elsewhere. Snap CEO, Even Spiegal said marketing, distribution, and storytelling are becoming more valuable than traditional software engineering. When something becomes abundant, something else becomes scarce. Even Anthropic (makers of Claude) are expanding their human communications team. If AI can replace human writers, why is Anthropic hiring more human writers? Netflix and OpenAI are paying up top 775k for a communications lead role AI is making everyone sound the same online, even with good prompting. So now companies are looking for people who can connect with other humans. In a world of AI, the only thing we will have left is storytelling. Let’s Launch Together, Michael “storyteller” Lim. *** P.S - Whenever you’re ready to Launch, here are 3 ways I can help you fire up your one-person business rocket ship:
