G'day G'day Launch Pilots, Iām off on the road again. This morning Iām catching a flight from Melbourne to Singapore. If Iām being honest, Iām getting a bit tired. For the last 14 months, Iāve lost count on how many flights Iāve taken. At first, the thrill was exciting. The novelty, stimulation, and environment was intoxicating. I thought Iād never want to settle down again. But spending 2-3 weeks in a new city gets tiring. I got numb to the novelty of seeing the 37th temple. Or having the same āso, what do you do?ā conversation with someone Iāll never see again. The excitement of boarding a stuffed plane surrounded by peopleās farts turned into a tedious chore I no longer looked forward to. After 425+ days, Iām now craving more stability and certainty. I know I donāt want to settle back into Melbourne. But I also donāt want to move my life around every month. This taught me an important lesson about freedom. Freedom is not about taking 0% responsibility. Ditching family and friends. Or lounging around a beach in Bali 24/7. I donāt want endless leisure. I hate partying. That stuff gets really dumb really quick. Freedom is the ability to choose your commitments. A life without commitments is meaningless. Commitment creates purpose. Purpose creates motivation. I still donāt know 100% what my commitments are. But Iām embracing a new messy growth stage of my life. If youāre feeling a little lost chances are youāre committing to something that isnāt aligned or a fit for you right now. Whatever it is just know you can change it. Letās Launch Together, Michael ācommitment is kingā Lim *** P.S - Whenever youāre ready to Launch, here are 3 ways I can help you fire up the rocket ship:
