Michael Lim | Solopreneur Launch

stop trying to be 🆒

G’day Friends,

I often get asked:

What’s a good business idea?

My response:

One that’s boring and profitable.

People look at me like an alien.

They expect me to say:

  • AI
  • Crypto
  • Blockchain

Or some other sexy industry.

But while sexy sounds cool, it’s unproven.

The more cool something sounds, the less there is a viable business model for it.

Uber is cool.

But it spent 14+ years not making profit.

It burned through VC money to make the model viable.

Even now, it’s still shaky.

Could you go 10 years without making a profit as a solopreneur?

Probably not.

Instead, go boring.

  1. Pick a very painful problem.
  2. Create a service-based business.
  3. Leverage your corporate experience to sell and market.
  4. Streamline your operations to have 80%+ profit margins.

Still got questions?

Here’s a FULL GUIDE to quietly build a $10k p/m biz.

Let’s Launch Together,

Michael ‘boring but profitable’ Lim.
