Gâday Gâday friends, I was at Chinese New Year dinner with my family. Inevitably, the question of my career came up. I talked about what I was doing:

I get it. Iâve been there before. So, being the older cousin I gave him some ideas. I offered a suggestion based on his interests. He replied: âyeah, that wonât work for me.â So, I gave another suggestion: âyeah, but that only works for this type of person.â This pattern repeated for another 20 minutes. I started to get frustrated. No matter what I said, he could only reply with why it wouldnât work. The unspoken requirement for solopreneurship: Your mindset. The battle in business happens between your ears. Trends, niches, and ideas mean nothing to a closed mind. A pessimist sounds right. But an optimist will change their life.
