Gāday friends, Iām back in sunny Singapore. Sri Lanka was my last business conference for the year. Now, Iām looking forward to chilling out and a break. While in Singapore, I visited my 91 year old grandmother Here she is: Sheās the person who unknowingly kick-started my 18-month travel journey. In 2024, I visited her just before a trip to Thailand. I was feeling stuck, safe, and comfortable. On paper, my life was great. I had the job title, salary, and status everyone kills for at 28. But I could feel something was wrong. I just didnāt care. These accomplishments felt meaningless. When I spoke to my grandmother, she reminded me: Go and see the world while youāre still young enough to enjoy it. That one sentence rearranged everything inside me. It reminded me that life isnāt meant to be lived on autopilot. Itās meant to be explored, tasted, wrestled with, and appreciated. Every big step Iāve taken since then traces back to this moment. My life before I left Australia look good. But felt hollow. Solopreneurship isnāt just about building a business. Itās about building a life youāre actually proud to live. Donāt get me wrong. This path was filled with uncertainty and doubt. There was many times when I wanted to quit and go back to safety. But if this choice were easy, everyone would do it. My grandmotherās advice wasnāt just about travel. It was about finding a life that feels meaningful, not just impressive. Now I get to share my adventures with her every time I visit. I'm the luckiest grandson in the world. Letās Launch Together, Michael āgrandmotherās boyā Lim. *** P.S - Whenever youāre ready to Launch, here are 3 ways I can help you fire up the rocket ship:
