Lost and looking for answers šŸ”Ž

In 2023, I almost lost my business.

I had overspent.
I encountered a large tax bill.
I had to delay payments to subcontractors.

I felt like a complete failure.

It almost broke me.

Every night, I went for a walk and cried.
I couldn’t sleep. I barely ate.

The thought of telling everyone my business failed?
Unbearable.

The doubt crept in.

My colleagues would be right.

Everyone who questioned my choice would be right.

In desperation, I signed up for Uber Eats.

Just in case I needed some cash.

I was lost.

I'd never felt so low in my life.

Then, while doom-scrolling through Instagram,

I found The Storyteller Sprints.

This group of legends were solopreneurs working towards the same thing I was.

A community of people who got it.

This is what I'd been searching for.

I invested in myself.

I joined every weekly call.

Got advice, support, and mentorship.

I didn't feel so alone in my struggles.

In the six months of joining the community, my life changed.

  • I felt less alone.
  • I learned new skills in sales and marketing.
  • I recovered my biz back to $20k per month.
  • I grew my Medium followers from 6,600 to 25,000.
  • Managed to sell that business to a larger consultancy.

All within six months of joining this community.

Because success isn’t about never struggling.

In business, struggle isn't optional.

It's guaranteed. You're going to fail. Period.

The difference?

Knowing how to bounce back faster.

You could be going through a lost period right now.

If so, I get it. It's tough.

If not, I can show you how to avoid it.

That’s why I built the Launch to $5k Inner Circle program.

Inside Launch to $5k Inner Circle, you'll get:

  • Access to all my workshops, resources, and templates (worth $2,500)
  • An exclusive community of growth-focused solopreneurs.
  • Direct feedback from me on your offer & sales strategy.
  • Weekly calls to keep you accountable.

This isn't just another course.
This isn't just another coaching package.

This is the community that will push you to the next level.

Only a few spots are open.

Not everyone will be accepted.

I'm looking for people with an existing offer who want to scale to $5k+ MRR.

Reply "LOST" and I'll send the deets.

Doors close in 4 days.

Stay Limitless,

Michael "Almost an Uber Eats driver" Lim.

P.S. My backup plan is still to become a TikTok Durian reviewer. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.

My email yesterday struck a chord. I received emails like this: While I love hearing from you guys, these emails break my heart I can’t help but feel terrible. I know exactly what it was like to be in this position. I’m not in my 60s, but I’m familiar with being and feeling stuck. 2 years ago, my first business was failing me. I did well in my first year. But I didn’t build my sales engine. My clients ghosted me. A big proposal fell through. I got hit with a massive tax bill. I couldn’t deny...

I would say sorry, but I’m not sorry at all. In fact, I enjoyed it. And he started it. (So it’s really his fault) Matt reached out to work with me last year. He told me he was stuck. He couldn’t crack a monthly income goal. He had been working with a coach who wasn’t getting any results. Even after six months of work together. He still had: No sales system. No offer clarity. No real progress. When we started together, we tore down his biz. Rebuilt his offers. Simplified his message....

One of my friends’ start-ups got copied. He has a business-to-business software as a service. I won’t go into too much detail. (to avoid future copycats) But he came across a website that copied everything. The copywriting. The product. The positioning. The ideal client profile. Even the branding looked the same. He was anxious for days. He and his co-founder kept struggling to understand what to do. They contacted clients and reassured them. This was a massive threat to his business. When I was...
