Gâday Gâday mates, Last week, I was at a formal business event. I was seated on a pretty cool table: These were old friends and contacts in Melbourne. I havenât seen some of them in years. I wore my go-to 3 piece suit. Slicked back my hair. Got ready to network with people. One of the main speakers was a Victorian politician. As usual, he started speaking about all the great things theyâve done. But even when confronted with setbacks, he reframed them into a positive. I was amazed at his ability to reframe reality into a compelling story of the future. Thereâs recently been negative media stories about the Victorian government. The cost of living crisis and crime have skyrocketed in the last few years. Infrastructure projects are delayed. Small businesses are struggling. And yet, he managed to reframe every challenge as progress. At the end, I started to buy into his vision. And I don't really live in Melbourne anymore. You can call it political spin or a politician being a politician. But I saw this as a useful skill as a solopreneur. Reframing is a superpower. The moment you stop seeing problems as proof youâre not ready, and start seeing them as part of the story, everything changes. Thatâs what my Launch Journal helps you do. Itâs a simple 6-question system to turn your experience, skills, and story into a one-person business that feels meaningful and profitable. It helps you reframe all your past experiences into a vision for the future. If youâre an ex-corporate professional ready to reframe your next chapter, start with the Launch Journal today.
