Gâday Gâday friends, Last week, I went to a talk given by the CEO of HeyReach. This is a software that reached $10m annual revenue in 29 months. I love Bali for this reason. You get to hear from other successful solopreneurs. The island is full of them. Here are the lessons I took: 1/ overnight success took 5 years, They were on the verge of bankruptcy 3 times. Required 2 big company pivots just to survive. They went through countless false starts and failures. But everything lead them to the breakthough. 2/ no product development roadmap They just built EXACTLY what their churned and existing customers told them. Every time a customer churned, they asked why? And then built the exact features they said they wanted. They swallowed their ego, listened, and created a better product. 3/ growth requires partnership They grew through partnerships with agencies and creators. Growth didnât happen in isolation, only through collaboration. 4/ People are everything The biggest decision they made to hiring? Hiring those better than them. They wanted to people who had been where they want to go. ** Success doesnât repeat, but it does rhyme. These are lessons you can take for yourself. But you need to be creative to how you apply them to your context. Letâs Launch Together, Michael âsuccess can be learnedâ Lim. P.S - If you want to learn the secrets of success as a solopreneur, Iâm hosting a LIVE workshop next week on the 29th of January. Reply âFOUNDERâ and Iâll send you more information. |
