G'day G'day, In my 9-5 job, I had one of the worst colleagues. The entire 5 years we worked together, we never got along. She would constantly undermine me or hit me with subtle jabs. Insults disguised as ābanterā or ājokesā But I could always feel there was a malicious intent. The worst bit? She was never outwardly hostile. For a few weeks, Iād think we would be turning a corner. We would get along well with each other. We would get lunch together. Things seemed to be going well. But then she would turn again. I could never predict when it would happen. Sometimes, Iād rather someone come out and say they donāt like you. At least you know to avoid them and minimize time spent together. But luke-warm ambivalent behaviour is more detrimental to your mental health than someone explicitly disliking you. Part of leaving my 9-5 job was to escape relationships like this. Now, I can focus on building a community filled with people I love. Entrepreneurs, digital nomads, and business owners. Every Thursday, I get to host a community call: We come together to workshop challenges. Overcome limiting beliefs. Get a sense of accountability. Feel connected to others on the same journey. Building a business is one of the most stressful things you can do. You feel less lonely, less weird, and maybe less defective. And most importantly, be clear with each other on how we feel. No more second guessing whether people like me or not. The amount of emotional baggage I no longer carry makes me feel so light. Letās Launch Together, Michael āditch that sh*t colleagueā Lim. *** P.S - Whenever youāre ready to Launch, here are 3 ways I can help you fire up the rocket ship:
