It’s a weird flex, I know.

But I’m a nobody.

Like more than a nobody.

I’m a child of working-class immigrant parents with a limited year 9 education.

Zero writing talent. Zero expertise.

Zero good looks compared to Handsome Mark Manson.

I'm no 2x bestselling author.

Yet, I’ve managed to pass Mark Manson in followers on Medium.

He is one of the most well-known names in the self-improvement space.

If I’m being honest, I do feel like a bit of an imposter.

I don’t think I’m a particularly good writer.

But I do have a skill that I’ve learned:

Starting when I don’t feel ready.

This is a mindset I use with anything that feels uncomfortable.

Confidence comes with competence.
