I write for 2-3 hours almost every day.

It's been a non-negotiable habit for over 7 years now.

This ONE act pays for my monthly mortgage.

The money I made on Medium paid for my house deposit.

I couldn't believe it at the time.

But you can't just write garbage and expect to get paid.

No sir-ry.

90% of writers don't make anything.

Because they treat writing like a diary.

To succeed, your writing needs a niche positioning.

Your positioning is made up of 3 parts:

1. Part 1: WHO: Target one person. Usually, it's easier to target the person you were 2-3 years ago. You're the most qualified to talk about your own achievements, results, and proof. You're also your first case study.
2. Part 2: WHAT: Become known to the person above to solve ONE specific problem. Make that painful problem related to wealth, health, or relationships. Don't try to do two or three. Pick one thing that people wake up at 2:00am thinking about.
3. Part 3: HOW: Create a new way to solve this problem. People have heard the same old solutions over and over again. Give them something new to buy into. This is your secret sauce. The unique way you do things that makes you different from every other shmuck out there.

Someone needs to be able to read your writing and know exactly who this is for, what problem you solve, and how you do it.

If you don't, you become faceless noise in a crowded marketplace.

If you write for everyone, you write for no one.

But if you write for someone, you get paid handsomely every month.

Even people who don't buy from you can refer you to someone they know.

Everyone in your audience either becomes a buyer or referrer.
