I just spent a big week in KL, Malaysia.

I was here to host an in-person event for ASEAN entrepreneurs.

And attend the 10th ASEAN Entrepreneurs Carnival.

But Malaysia is important for more than just events.

It’s the humble home of the King of Fruits.

You know exactly what I’m talking about…

The mighty Durian.

It’s the first time I’ve in Malaysia in over 14 years.

I was a rebellious pimple faced teenager last time I was here.

I love this saying:

You can never visit a city twice.

Why?

Because:

1. You change.
2. The city changes.

And that’s exactly what solopreneurship feels like.

Every stage of the biz journey changes you.

You can have the same ‘business’.

Sure, your biz name and structure is the same.

But you change as an entrepreneur.

AND

Your business changes.

You might have the same skills, same tools, even the same offers.

But you’re not the same person anymore.

You’ve evolved.

Your perspective sharpens.

You’ve overcome limiting beliefs.

That’s the beauty of this solopreneurship game.

It’s a never ending game of problem solving.

Evolve, or repeat.

Because like me in Malaysia, your business will look different every 60-90 days.

That’s how you know you’re growing.

Not just as an entrepreneur, but as a person.
