Michael Lim | Solopreneur Launch

Don't be afraid to live 🧬

G’day G’day friends,

I just slept for over 12+ hours.

I’ve been in Japan for the last 6 days.

I was there to attend:

  • Japan’s Young Entrepreneur’s Group.
  • Global Resilience Summit in Tokyo.

I connected with a global group of entrepreneurs.

They were awesome.

I met biz owners from countries like:

  • Laos
  • Japan
  • Thailand
  • Australia
  • Myanmar
  • Cambodia
  • Singapore

Here we all are on a boat in Tokyo:

But while exciting, it threw me off my routine.

I hadn’t sent an email in a few days.

At first, I felt bad.

But you don’t want to hear from me every day for the sake of it.

You want to hear me tell interesting stories.

That’s my job as a writer.

I’ve got a duty to:

  1. Live an interesting life.
  2. Learn something.
  3. Write about it.

Writing for the sake of writing is pointless.

I’m back in Singapore with renewed energy for my writing.

In emails this week, you’ll hear some great stories from my recent trip.

But remember:

Don’t be afraid to go off-grid for an adventure.

Do something exciting.

Live life to the fullest.

On my flight back, I watched a remake of ‘Running Man’ with Glen Powell and his character said:

You shouldn’t fear death. But you should fear an unlived life.

So, get living.

Let’s Launch Together,

Michael 'live life, learn, and write Lim.
