Gâday friends, Yesterday morning, I woke up at 4:32am to catch a flight to Japan. Iâm flew 6+ hours and 5,237km to Haneda, Tokyo. (or 3,253 miles for my American chaps). I arrived in Tokyo and then drove another 3 hours to Gunma. What for? Iâm joining 10,000+ entrepreneurs for the Annual National Convention for the Japanese Young Entrepreneurâs Group. Itâs one of the largest entrepreneurship events in Japan. While excited, I woke up yesterday feeling a bit tired and overworked. It was early and Iâve been struggling with a few health issues recently. In my half-dazed sleep, I wondered what all of this was for. Iâm usually a positive person, but I was feeling low and dejected. But I thought back to the person I was 3 years ago. Michael in 2023 would have JUMPED at an opportunity like this. I still felt tired. I still felt overworked. I still felt a bit burned out. But Iâm feeling more gratitude today. This is an email to remind you how much youâve grown. How much youâve developed. How much youâve progressed. Growth often feels invisible to us. Itâs hard to see how weâve grown everyday. But think about the person you were 3 years ago. Now, think about the person you are today. I can bet you itâs a world of difference. Even if it doesnât feel like it. Take it easier on yourself. Youâve achieved more than you know. Letâs Launch Together, Michael âone grateful durianâ Lim. *** P.S - Whenever youâre ready to Launch, here are 3 ways I can help you fire up the rocket ship:
